John has extensive experience of strategic and marketing management within global construction and allied businesses. Skilled in organising businesses for growth both domestically and internationally, John brings an outside dimension to FM’s ambitious expansion plans.
Ray Davenport
Managing Director
Ray is the founder of FM Electronics, and it is Ray’s technical vision and radio engineering expertise that has directed the Company over the years to its current highly respected position in the police and commercial wireless security markets.
Mike Muncey
Development Director
Mike has worked for FM Electronics for 15 years. An electronics engineer by training Mike drives our hardware and software development programme; and is responsible for translating the needs of customers and markets into FM products and systems.
Ann Davenport
Company Secretary
Ann joined the Company at its outset in 1989, working initially part time in purchasing. Her role has progressively expanded over the years to cover accounting, credit control, payroll and HR. She is frequently found on the telephone helping customers and suppliers alike.
Ashley Thomas
Sales Engineer
Ashley has been with FM since 1990. Trained in electronics and with an interest in amateur radio Ashley first worked as a test technician, soon progressing into a technical support role and then into sales. What Ashley does not know about FM and its products, is not worth knowing!
Ray Fullwood
Development Engineer
Ray is an electronics engineer through and through. He has a long working association with FM, eventually joining full time in 2004. During a career in electronics within the security industry Ray has been instrumental in the design and development of many innovative wire-free products.
David Hart
Support Engineer
David joined the Company in 2005 as a Support Engineer. From an electronics background, and with experience in data communications and customer services, David works closely with our customers on the telephone and via e-mail providing alarm solutions and technical advise.
Mandy Moon
Administration Manager
Mandy joined FM back in 1990 within the Manufacturing team. This initial experience gave her an excellent grasp of our complete product range. When she subsequently transferred into Sales Administration she was able to apply this knowledge to her many customer contacts.
Jane Waite
Production Manager
Jane started work for FM in 1992 as a production operator. There is hardly a job in our busy production plant that Jane has not undertaken. In her subsequent roles as assistant supervisor, and most recently as Production Manager she oversees our well planned production unit.
Andrew Davenport
Process Engineer
To Andrew FM is the family firm. He joined in 1992 after completing a BTEC in engineering, working initially in production and testing. Later he took responsibility for ISO, and in addition to ISO today Andrew also manages our MRP and SMT processes.
