FM2800 - Tetra and GSM connectivity for wired systems
FM2800 is an alarm signal communicator. It had been designed to allow users of FM2000 and FM2200 Mobile Alarm Systems to monitor other alarm panels on FM2000/FM2200 alarm receiver software. The unit connects to the alarm signaling outputs from any traditional wired alarm panel and communicates directly with the FM alarm receiver software.
The unit is designed to provide communication over Tetra Airwave, the GSM Mobile Network and PSTN telephone lines. For users of FM’s receiver software, either in stand alone format or integrated with command and control, this facility helps to enhance efficiency by allowing operators to use a single monitoring/reporting system.
Signalling Capability:
- 8 alarm inputs can be accepted from alarm panels; and each can be individually programmed
- FM2800 management software allows all alarm panel settings to be signalled and monitored
- Alarm information can be sent to multiple destinations at the request of the client
- A non-volatile memory ensures that programmed data is retained during any power failure
- Unauthorised access to the communicator unit is protected by an anti tamper device
System Monitoring:
- Signalling is possible by Tetra Airwave, GSM mobile phone and PSTN telephone line
- Tetra and GSM signal strength indication is displayed on the communicator
- Dual signalling provides fail safe communication and constant monitoring
- 16 user defined alarm messages of 22 character length are available
- SMS or SDS alarm messages may be sent directly to keyholders
